1. Open Gmail in your browser. Ensure that you can view the right sidebar. If you can't, click the arrow (<) in the lower right hand corner of your screen.
2. Click the red circle on the right sidebar.
3. If this is your first time logging in, complete the authorization process. If not prompted, skip to step 4.
- Grant permission.
- Select continue in pop up window.
- Select all and choose continue.
4. Select the appropriate report.
- Report Junk if the message is unsolicited or unwanted advertising or another kind of undesired mass email.
- Report Not Junk if the message is incorrectly categorized as Junk.
- Report Phishing if you suspect the message is fraudulent (attempting to trick you into provided sensitive information such as user name, password, or financial data).
Messages reported as phishing are reviewed by a human being. If they are determined to be fraudulent, they will be removed from your inbox (as well as the inboxes of others).
